Cookie & Storage Policy

Darts in Hand — Effective date: May 26, 2026 — Last updated: May 26, 2026

1. Our Website (these legal pages)

This website is a static HTML site. We do not set any cookies on this website. We use no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider may collect basic server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) in the ordinary course of serving requests. We do not access or control these logs.

2. The Darts in Hand Mobile App

Mobile apps do not use browser cookies. Instead, the Darts in Hand app uses the following types of local device storage. None of this data is shared with advertisers or third parties.

Storage Type What It Stores Purpose How to Clear
Secure Storage
(FlutterSecureStorage — device keychain/keystore)
Your JWT authentication token Keeps you logged in between sessions. Without it you would need to log in every time you open the app. Automatically cleared when you log out or delete your account. Or: uninstall the app.
Shared Preferences
(device local storage)
UI preferences, cached display settings Remembers your in-app preferences so you don’t have to re-set them each session. Cleared when you delete your account or uninstall the app.
Firebase Device Token
(Firebase Cloud Messaging)
A device push notification identifier generated by Google Firebase Allows the app to deliver tournament and bracket push notifications to your device. This is not your personal information — it is a random identifier assigned to your device installation. Disable push notifications in your device Settings → Notifications → Darts in Hand. Or uninstall the app.

3. Essential Storage Only

All storage listed above is essential to the operation of the app. We do not use any optional, analytical, or advertising storage. Because we only use essential storage, we do not display a cookie consent banner in the app — this storage is required for the service to function and is disclosed here and in our Privacy Policy.

4. Future Web Portal

If we launch a web-based payment portal in the future, that site will have its own cookie notice displayed at first visit, covering any session cookies used by the payment processor (Stripe). This policy will be updated at that time.
