Darts in Hand — Effective date: May 26, 2026 — Last updated: October 5, 2026

By creating an account or using the Darts in Hand app, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Darts in Hand. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this requirement without notice.

2. What Darts in Hand Is

Darts in Hand is a sports management platform for competitive darts. It provides:

• Player stat aggregation from publicly available league sources (NADO, TOC, EDC, Iowa Darts, J&J Amusements (NTS))
• Tournament discovery and event registration tracking
• Tournament Director (TD) tools: bracket management, board assignments, side games
• Bar owner tools: board management, event scheduling, promotions

Darts in Hand is not a gambling platform and does not process payments. The app does not accept, hold, transmit, or disburse money of any kind. Entry fees and prize distributions displayed within Tournament Director tools are administrative records only. All monetary transactions occur in person, outside the app, at the sole discretion of the Tournament Director and venue.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for the security of your login credentials.
• You must provide accurate information at registration.
• One account per person. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
• You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulation
• Attempt to access, alter, or delete other users’ data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or its backend systems
• Submit false player IDs, fabricated statistics, or inaccurate profile information
• Use Tournament Director or Bar Owner features without authorization from the relevant organization or venue
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users through the platform

5. Player Statistics and Third-Party Data

Statistics are aggregated from third-party sources (NADO, TOC, EDC, Iowa Darts, J&J Amusements (NTS)). Darts in Hand does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Discrepancies should be directed to the relevant league organization. We are not liable for decisions made based on aggregated statistics.

6. Tournament Entry Fees and Prize Distributions

When a Tournament Director uses the app to record entry fees or calculate prize distributions, these are administrative records only. Darts in Hand is not a party to any financial arrangement between players and event organizers. We accept no responsibility for disputes over entry fees, prize money, event outcomes, or any monetary transaction between users.

7. Intellectual Property

The Darts in Hand app, its design, and original content are owned by Ray Acosta. Player-submitted profile data remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to display it within the app to other users.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time via the app.

9. Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties regarding uptime, data accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Service interruptions may occur during maintenance or due to factors outside our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Darts in Hand is limited to zero dollars ($0.00), as this is a free service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 7 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nebraska.
